Abstract

The global hydrological models simulate the transformation of rainfall - runoff on natural basins, for many practical applications in the domain of water resource management (including the forecast flows, management of retaining structures the dimensioning of hydraulic structures, etc.). Many researches have therefore attached, for over a century, trying to understand the generation process of flow and functioning of watershed hydrology production entity and concentration of flows.

This work is based on modeling the transformation of rain to flow and its representation on monthly and daily scale on watershed of Oued Louza whose area is of 746km² by using the model Rural Engineering GR (GR2M and GR4J) whose input parameters the rainfall and ETP calculated by the method of Oudin and output parameters is formed dept of runoff.

The results indicate that the model takes into account of the different exchanges (atmosphere and underground) and tank capacity. It appeared that the transition from monthly to daily scale has added important gains especially in performance.
