Abstract

Healthy water distribution is crucial to maintain population health and development in rural area. The underground water (Wells) in CRA was characterized by high seasonal shift. Spatial variation of Nitrite concentration was observed.  Almost of the measured variables were very high during the rainy season, but lower in dry season. Underground water contamination by Nitrate was found along the rainy season (P5 = 60.644 mg/L and P6 = 53.68 mg/L), it is a main threat for the local people health. Difference in physical and chemical water quality at spatial and temporal level was due to difference on agricultural activity, hydrogeology and ground characteristic, well management, infiltration level and water charge where was very important throughout rainy season. Indeed, water quality depend on substrate quality (geomorphologic) and anthropogenic activity.
