SIMULATION OF UNDERGROUND WATER FLOW IN MONZOUNGOUDO HYDRAULIC DRILLING IN BENIN

Abstract


The diagnosis of the existing hydraulic system in the village of Monzoungoudo, with a view to repairing its drinking water distribution network, led us to create a simulator for its drilling. It is a one-dimensional simulator that uses pressure at the bottom of the borehole or drillhole to solve the general conservation equations of mass, momentum and energy. The validation of this code shows that in the hydraulic drilling of Monzoungoudo, the simulations are in agreement with the drilling pressure logs in general.
