EVALUATION DE LA MATURITE ET DE LA QUALITE CHIMIQUE DES SUBSTRATS DE CROISSANCE À BASE DE METHACOMPOST AVICOLE POUR UNE MEILLEURE EXPLOITATION

Y M’SADAK, A BEN M’BAREK

Abstract

A direct assessment was devoted to a set of culture substrates based  in mixing of peat and methacompost poultry refined (MCA) with or without the addition of forestry raw compost (CSB). After the implementation of the tests of maturity, growing substrates considered have underwent chemical analysis (pH, electrical conductivity, salinity, organic matter, total organic carbon, total nitrogen, C/N, mineral contents).

The Substrates tested have unveiled a relatively immaturity, an acid pH and salinity generally low. The MCA has been very rich in nitrogen and rich in other minerals (K...). Such characteristics indicate that incorporation with peat in a proportion of 10-20% could be conceivable by taking the necessary precautions.
